How does billing work if I’m on Medicaid?

This varies by state. For CO Medicaid, we bill Medicaid directly and physical therapy is a covered benefit. In order for Medicaid to cover physical therapy, you must see your physician and get a referral. We request an authorization, and upon receiving this authorization, you are ready to begin.
